Dear Friends,

I am very excited to be writing to you!

On June 22nd, Pine Tree Camp will open its gates for the 2008 summer season and what a summer it is going to be!

This year, we will be welcoming more campers than ever to Pine Tree Camp… more than 700 boys and girls and young adults with physical and developmental disabilities from all over Maine!

  • And…we’ve expanded our new day camp program Camp Pine Cone for young children!
  • AndPine Tree Camp’s Treehouse is complete and ready for action…a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on June 17th!
  • And…a new curriculum for nature programming has been developed, celebrating the forests and the creatures that live in the woods and the water around Pine Tree Camp!
  • Anda new Wellness/Office Center  is being built that will enhance our ability to care for our campers, properly greet visitors and ensure the safety and comfort for all who are a part of Pine Tree Camp…campers, their families and caregivers, staff, volunteers and guests!

Swinging on Pine Tree Camp's adaptive swing set.I repeat…it is going to be a very exciting, wonderful summer for our campers!

Wouldn’t you agree?

And…we need your help.  Our campers are accepted regardless of their ability to pay tuition.  Pine Tree Camp receives no federal or state funding.  We rely on our donors and their generous gifts year after year to help make summer an exciting and magical time for the hundreds of children and adults who look forward to coming to Pine Tree Camp all year long!

Join in the excitement and give a gift, a gift that will mean the world to a child or adult with disabilities.

Sincerely,

Anne L. Marsh
Executive Director
