Pine Tree Society's Audiology program will host an open house featuring free hearing screenings and a workshop covering the latest advances in hearing aid technology on Wed., May 5, at its 149 Front Street location in Bath.  The event will be held as part of Better Speech and Hearing month.

A 10-minute hearing screening is the essential first step in determining if you have a hearing loss.  Screenings will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The hour-long workshop will explore the dramatic advances in hearing aid technology.  The workshop, offered at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., is appropriate for individuals who have been diagnosed with hearing loss and currently use or are considering purchasing a hearing aid. The information will help in making an educated decision about what type of hearing aid will meet the individual’s needs.

Light refreshments and coffee will be available.  To schedule a screening appointment or register for the workshop, please call Pine Tree Society at 443-3341.
