Mission Statement:
To provide Maine children and adults with disabilities the opportunities and the means to create better lives for themselves and their families.
Vision Statement:
The following vision statements were identified by the Board of Directors in 1999, evaluated and re-affirmed in 2003.
- Pine Tree Society programs will be increasingly available statewide
- The benefits of Pine Tree Camp will be expanded beyond current seasonal limitations. We will move toward fulfilling the concept of a camp without walls.
- Pine Tree Society will be an increasing resource and of increasing support to families of Maine people with disabilities
- Pine Tree Society will explore the benefits that technology can provide to enhance the quality of life of Maine people with disabilities.
