Community Supports

Being an active participant in the community is important for anyone.  It’s quite typical for people with disabilities to feel isolated.  Fortunately there are various programs that support people with disabilities in active and meaningful participation in their community.  These programs offer an opportunity to gain new experiences, increase functional life skills and, at the same time, learn how to interact with their peers and the world around them.  Moreover, people with disabilities and their families benefit greatly from individualized support in identifying and accessing services designed to meet their individual goals.

  • Community Services is unique day program for adults with Autism, developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury that fosters individual growth through meaningful activities in a supportive atmosphere.
  • Case Management Services supports children and adults with Autism or developmental disabilities and the families that care for them.
  • Southern Maine Autism Conference provides practical information and valuable support for families, parents and other caregivers of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
