    Director of Early Learning Center

The Early Learning Center of Pine Tree Society offers quality, inclusive early childhood experiences for children between the ages of 3 years to 6 years of age.

Our programs are designed to provide young children with an individualized experience that will meet all children’s needs. Our philosophy is based on the premise that children learn best through play. We believe that all children need a chance to explore materials, try out new ideas, make new friends, and feel good about themselves.

The Early Learning Center provides times for children to play by themselves or with other children in activities of their own choosing. Teachers also schedule circle times and small group times when the activities are more structured and based on learning objectives. The varied routine of the day allows children to develop skills to learn to get along with other children, while it also gives the teaching staff the chance to plan for and meet individual learning needs.

The Early Learning Center strives to work jointly with parents, therapists, and other agencies involved in providing the child and family with a coordinated and meaningful program. Therapists are encouraged to integrate the child’s services into the classroom whenever possible. While each child comes to us with unique strengths and challenges, we see a common goal for all of our students: To foster a love of learning that will set a strong foundation for the future.

Our team understands that the children are part of a family. We work to provide ongoing individualized family support and resources to help ensure greater success as the child transitions to kindergarten.

Morning and afternoon sessions are offered:

8:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Monday through Friday

12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday
