Join Pine Tree Society on September 16 as we open our doors to art enthusiasts during the Bath Art Walk. Over the past 50 years, we have acquired quite an extensive collection of quintessential Maine art as part of our holiday card campaign. Our artwork is certainly beautiful and represents all aspects of Maine – country scenes, woods and fields, the coast and lighthouses. It’s amazing to think of the impact that the work has had to the people we serve. We estimate that collectively the work we will be showcasing represents about $3 million in holiday cards sales over the past 50 years. Those funds have gone directly to transform the lives of Maine people with disabilities. Together, we have made a tremendous impact to the people of Maine.
Featured will be the paintings chosen for Pine Tree Society’s 2016 Holiday Cards. Big Red Barn, by Marieluise Hutchinson and Schooner in the Harbor by Richard Hasenfus will be on display and you will be able to purchase the holiday cards which will support Pine Tree Society’s full range of services designed to help Maine people with disabilities lead active, more socially connected lives.
Please join us as we celebrate. Wine and refreshments will be served.
