Flutie 5K at Pine Tree Camp

Make some tracks this fall at the Flutie 5K for Autism at Pine Tree Camp!
On October 22, come run, walk or roll through Pine Tree Camp’s fully accessible trails in the heart of the Maine woods. Pine Tree Camp’s 285-acre campus on the shore of North Pond in Rome is the perfect setting for people of all abilities to come together and enjoy a picturesque 5K to raise money in support of autism.
You’ve never run, walked or rolled through a setting quite like Pine Tree Camp. The entire campus is fully accessible and designed for Maine children and adults with disabilities to experience barrier-free access to the outdoors and leave behind the confines of their disability to actively participate in all the activities for which Maine is famous – kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, biking and snow shoeing – experiencing freedom and independence like never before.
This 5K is sure to become an annual Pine Tree Camp tradition, and you’ll want to be the first to make tracks around some of camp’s most scenic spots. The route takes runners, walkers, and rollers on fully accessible nature trails through the woods, along the waterfront, and around many special places where overnight summer camp memories have been made since 1945. It’s Maine like you’ve never seen it before!
