Our Campologists have taken everything campers have come to love about Pine Tree Camp over the past 75 years – friends, activities, the outdoors, discovery and exploration – and created Pine Tree Camp to You.
Pine Tree Camp to You was developed by a team of year-round and summer staff as well as volunteers including alumni, camp professionals, teachers, media specialists and outdoor recreation experts. Our programming is specially designed to continue to connect, engage, increase activity, gain access to the natural world all around us and develop a passion for trying new things.
This series of six week-long virtual summer camp experiences will revolve around specific themes for each week and include group “cabin” activities through Zoom as well as self-guided activities.
Registered campers will receive a curated activity box that includes everything campers need to fully participate in all activities.
Experience the magic of Pine Tree Camp wherever you are through this remote programming this summer.
July 6 — Nature
We’ll bring the natural world of Pine Tree Camp to you and help you discover what is in your own backyard. Campers will learn how to grow their very own pine tree, identify trees and wildlife and discover new ways to be present and aware while exploring and enjoying nature.
Through Zumba, resistance band training, adaptive yoga and tracking our steps; challenging each other to get (and stay!) active is what this week is all about! We’ll make fitness fun, just like we do here at Pine Tree Camp!
July 20 — Music and Drama
Embrace the spotlight! We’ll dance, create a play, make music and so much more! Campers will have the chance to play in a band, write songs, act on the stage and direct the action during this fun-filled (and fulfilling!) week of Music and Drama.
August 3 — Science
Learn more about the world around you through science! You’ll have the chance to conduct your very own experiments at home as well as talk with other scientists about interesting projects they’re working on and how they conduct experiments. The more you learn, the more curious you’ll become!
From painting on canvas to creating nature prints to drawing portraits to making bookmarks, mobiles, and wind chimes, we’ll give you the tools and inspiration you need to tap into your inner artist and share what you create with others!
Mealtimes at Pine Tree Camp are a chance to sit down with friends, talk about our day and eat delicious food! Campers will receive a cookbook full of Pine Tree Camp mealtime staples, a variety of herbs to grow at home and the opportunity to hear first-hand from our very own Pine Tree Camp chefs!
